The CELLMEX laboratory section is focused on the biological platforms presently associated with our treatment programmes, together with current in-vitro and ex-vivo research intended to improve cellular understanding, process control and translational use.

A focused laboratory platform supporting regenerative medicine

Our laboratory work is centred on cellular and cell-derived biological platforms relevant to the regenerative medicine services being developed and offered through CELLMEX.

The present programme includes laboratory handling of mesenchymal stromal-cell cultures, observation of cellular behaviour under controlled in-vitro conditions, preparation of cell-conditioned materials and preservation of selected laboratory samples.

Ex-vivo work is performed outside the patient using biological material or cultured cells before any subsequent clinical decision or application is considered.

Laboratory activity and clinical care are related but distinct. Clinical treatment decisions remain the responsibility of qualified physicians and require patient-specific medical assessment.

Mesenchymal Stromal-Cell Culture

Ex-Vivo Research and Processing

Laboratory activity does not by itself establish treatment efficacy

Important qualification

In-vitro and ex-vivo results describe biological behaviour under defined laboratory conditions. They do not automatically predict safety or benefit in patients.

Any clinical application must consider the precise product identity, manufacturing process, dose, route of administration, patient condition, supporting evidence and applicable regulatory requirements.

CELLMEX treatment decisions should therefore remain physician-led and based on individual medical review, informed consent and appropriate follow-up.
