Website and Clinical Laboratory Modernization

CELLMEX is completing a planned modernization of its digital platform and clinical laboratory infrastructure as part of our continued scientific and institutional development.

Our research activities continue, existing patients remain under active physician supervision and continue receiving care under their established clinical protocols, and our medical and scientific teams continue developing patient-specific protocols for participating physicians, clinics and hospital clients.

The updated CELLMEX website is expected to be fully available by mid-September 2026.

Human research requires formal scientific and ethical structure

CELLMEX distinguishes clinical care, observational follow-up, clinical research and controlled clinical trials rather than using these terms interchangeably.

Clinical trials and research status

A treatment programme is not automatically a clinical trial. Formal clinical trials require a defined protocol, appropriate ethical and regulatory review, participant protection, data management and scientific analysis.

CELLMEX may participate in or develop clinical research collaborations where the scientific question, institutional responsibilities, regulatory pathway and patient protections have been appropriately defined.

Dr. Patino Cohen directs the clinical and translational development of CELLMEX, integrating regenerative medicine, laboratory operations, physician collaboration and structured patient-care programmes.

His experience involving stem-cell-related work, regenerative medicine and clinical operations dates to 1994. His broader professional work includes speciality pharmaceuticals, biologic technologies, manufacturing, international distribution and regulated-market development.

The leadership philosophy of CELLMEX is based on scientific credibility, responsible innovation, patient safety, laboratory discipline and clear communication of uncertainty.
